This study is a nutrition education intervention among patients with MPNs.
Our Mission
The myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) are a type of blood disease which stem from the overproduction of blood cells. This iresults in increased symptoms compared to individuals of the same age and medical problems. These symptoms include fatigue, abdominal complaints, symptoms associated with small blood vessels, and constitutional symptoms such as fevers, night sweats, weight loss and chills. In this study, we plan assess how changing the way participants eat may affect their MPN and associated symptoms. We anticipate that this study is likely to identify a method outside of medications to reduce the MPN- related disease features and ultimately prevent the disease from getting worse.
